A Cat Named Day

Valentine was a happy girl
Who had a cat once named day;
The cat was of the bubbly sort
Who loved frolicking in hay

She stood unerring
As an example of
A free spirited lil soul;
For all the dreary villagers about
A lesson in joy she´d extol

She drew a smile in all that saw
How she pranced and danced around;
Now a lil salsa, a tango step or two
Bollywood following tap dance,
And then some Broadway too!

And thus she kept the town enthralled
Until the day she bid goodbye
Leaving the village with only a sigh
And a phrase they use till day
